We start the last month of the year under the sign of the sacred and head to a place where we will discover an impressive collection of icons. In this auction we will find icons signed or attributed to famous icon painters such as Matei Țâmforea, Pavel Zamfir, Matei Popa from Vale or from the first workshop in Nicula, as well as icons from the time of Mihai Viteazul, Constantin Brâncoveanu or from the famous Cretan-Venetian school. The selection is crowned by the presence of icons made by the famous Căldărușani school, culminating with the one signed by the pioneer of neoclassicism in Romanian painting, Gheorghe Tattarescu. Bearers of grace, icons or pieces of sacred art are collectors' gifts for the month's celebrations and remind us of the perpetual search for and embodiment of the divine.
