80. Precolumbian cup with zoomorphic foot, decorated with 3 jaguars, Guanacaste-Nicoya culture, cca. 1000 - 1500 AD.

Low cup, supported on a circular relief foot, made of three jaguars in a circle. The paste is light brown, with dark brown and red inclusions. It is covered with white slip, over which polychrome motifs were added to the exterior. Around the rim is painted a red band, followed by a black painted rectangular motif. The jaguars are painted black on the head and body, and short segments painted red were added towards the paws.
