The artwork is reproduced in the monograph "Gheorghe Petrașcu", Ionel Jianu, Bucharest, "King Michael I" Royal Foundation, 1945 at cat. 31. The artwork is reproduced in the monograph "Gheorghe Petrașcu", Krikor Zambaccian, Cartea Românească, 1945 at cat. XXVIII. The artwork is reproduced in "Gheorghe Petrașcu", Eleonora Costescu, Ed. Historical collection of Eng. Leon Laserson (1887 - 1946). Leon Laserson, a Latvian Jew born in Riga, became one of the biggest industrialists in the oil industry during the interwar period - he settled in Romania in 1919. He was an engineer at "Concordia" - Moreni, then at the oil company "Steaua Română", from 1938 opening, along with his brother, an oil machinery import company - a biography that justifies the financial status of one of the wealthiest collectors of the 4th and 5th decades. Laserson acquired an impressive number of works of his contemporaries, Petrașcu, Iser, Pallady, Ciucurencu, during 1930 - 1945, his collection becoming "possibly the most ambitious in plastic value of everything we have in Bucharest today (1945)" - stated Corneliu Baba. The collector will come into contact with the works of Theodor Pallady as soon as the painter returned permanently to Romania - 1939, being advised by the art critic Ionel Jianu, becoming both a large collector of Pallady, as well as a close friend; old Romanian private collection, Czech Republic.
