The photographs and photographic postcards illustrate a genuine family history, that of General Constantin Boerescu. He appears alone and alongside his wife, dressed in gala uniform or during a visit to Paris to see the Universal Exhibition of 1900. His son, Neagu, is also present. A few images feature the German imperial family at Hagenau during official festivities. In one of the photos, alongside the general and other pilots, aviator Aurel Vlaicu is shown on the field at Cotroceni. Other pieces feature comrades in arms, including during the Second Balkan War of 1913. Moreover, in another photo, General Alexandru Socec is present. Two more pieces represent chromolithographic postcards with the portraits of Generals Boerescu and Socec, reproductions from the Album of the Romanian army illustrated by Adjukievici. All items are in very good preservation state and are kept in a beautiful epoch album. At the end of the album, the brochure "Confidential and personal appeal to comrade members of the Union of reserve and retiring officers from all county sections of the country", by Ștefan Stelian, 1925, has been glued.
