The colours of spring in major works of Romanian fine art. The Spring Art Sale is a never-ending “rendez-vous” with beauty. From the “Painter’s House in Câmpina” (Nicolae Grigorescu), we will go on a “Promenade” (Ştefan Luchian) to “Chioggia” (Gheorghe Petrașcu), reaching the “Coffee Shop of Bazargic” (Iosif Iser), then “On the Quay of the Seine” (Theodor Pallady), where a young painter makes his “Self-Portrait” (Adrian Ghenie), unsuspecting of how famous he will later become.
